brain itches Theme by Adam Holwerda.
1959, Dyatlov Pass, Russia. 9 experienced hikers die after inexplicably fleeing their tents unclothed in the middle of the night. 5 die of hypothermia. The others corpses appear to be crushed, despite no external wounds. One woman is missing her tongue. All the bodies have been irradiated, and family members claim that the skin of the victims is tanned a dark orange and their hair gray. The investigation turns up sightings of floating “orange spheres” and military experiments, but no explanation. The site is locked down for three years, and records of the investigation remain confidential for over 30 years. The official cause of the event is documented as a “compelling unknown force”.
